Principal's Hello

Kia ora and welcome to our school.

Having lived in this community for over 6 years I feel it is such a privilege to lead this fantastic kura.

We aim to be the school of choice for local families and a hub for this community. Whilst families predominantly come from Atawhai, Glenduan, Cable Bay, the Ludd and Teal Valleys as well as the immediate Hira area, our school is not zoned and we extend a warm welcome to families from all areas.

The majority of our children have access to a fully funded daily bus service.

We pride ourselves on really knowing our learners and engaging them through personalised learning that encourages diversity and meets the needs of children growing up in the 21st century.

Children enjoy beautiful, spacious grounds, well equipped classrooms, and a team of highly committed staff. I would love the opportunity to meet you, introduce the team, and show you what we have to offer your child/children.
